Summer 2010 Grading

The summer grading was held on the 27th of June at Wycombe judo centre on the hottest day of the year so far. Everyone worked very hard and deserved their new grade as the temperature in the hall got to a sweltering 40 degrees. Special mention to Kathryn Rooke-Matthews, Jade Page and Roco Page who all decided to train on the day and Bradon Behrendt (13), Chris Madden (14) and Walter Holmgren (14) who were all awarded adult belts.

Winter 2009 Grading

The Christmas grading was held on the 6th of December. For the first time the grading was spilt into morning (red, yellow & orange belt exams) and afternoon (green, blue & brown belt exams) – this didn’t mean the grading was any easier, if anything even more press ups were completed than in previous years! Spare a thought for those going for Black belt, they where there from 9am to 5pm. The grading was a test of syllabus knowledge and fitness. Well done to everyone that attended from Bracknell Club.

Summer 2009 Grading

Congratulations to everyone that attended the grading on the 27 the July. The grading was very tough on the students, however slightly easier on the spectators as they had seats at this venue! Everyone worked very hard and deserved their new grade. Special mention to Emily and Archie for showing a wide range of techniques at yellow belt.

Winter Grading 2008

Congratulations to everyone that graded on the 13th December the standard shown by Bracknell Club members was exceptionally high. Special mention to Bracknell Clubs newest Black belt Andrew Furnell. Andy worked very hard to achieve his black belt in under 5 years. For the past two years he has managed to fit in at least four hours CAUK training and teaching a week and often much much more!
